The Ring

Our transporters are professional.

From the beginning I knew that I was going to make the ring for Saskia myself. After many attempts, I finally found a goldsmith called Svenja, who allowed me to use her expertise, her workshop, gold and diamonds. After months of perfecting the design, it was finally time for making the ring. Throughout December and my orthopedic rotation, I rushed to Svenja whenever I had a spare moment in my day to work on the ring, in scrubs and all. In March, after almost four months, Svenja put the finishing touches on the ring, including setting the diamonds. Whilst waiting for these final touches to be completed, I went on to make the ring box out of a beautiful piece of Oregon Pine with the help of Joanna Woermann. Then the wait for engagement began.
